New Beginnings

Did you make a New year’s resolution? Or a general goal?

How is that going? Hopefully well, but maybe you have already eaten the extra chocolates, skipped the day at the gym or smoked the cigarette?

Well that’s that then, try again next year!

But really New Year is just a day, if we used a different calendar or lived in a different part of the world it would be another day. And each and every day has the potential for change.

If we fail, we tend to focus on the failure. But even if you just do one day of positive change, it will do you good, either physically or for your well-being, satisfaction, pride and self-care. Regardless of what happens tomorrow, that can only be a good thing!

Each day offers you the opportunity to add some value, it might be on January 1st or April 24th but there is a chance for positive change. You may only succeed occasionally, but it is still value added. And if you keep being sporadically successful, it just might turn into a habit, and then where will you be!?

It is just a day… as is today.

How will you do today?

If nothing else take a moment to be grateful, you have the option for change.

Today I choose change.

Today I choose to be happy.
